As well as looking unsightly, they are a trip hazard and can cause costly damage to vehicles and equipment. So, potholes need to be dealt with as soon as they form and before they become even bigger and cause more damage.
Watco Bitu-Mend formula is a durable patch repair that compacts to a dense, hard surface. Its exceptional strength makes it suitable to withstand vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Repairs can also be trafficked instantly, which means you can get areas back into use much quicker.

Bitu-Mend is perfect for rapid repairs for potholed asphalt and concrete on roads, paths and car parks. The material is applied as a soft, flexible bitumen mix, which gradually hardens over time following application. The repair can be instantly trafficked by cars and pedestrians. For very heavy traffic areas or areas where forklift trucks are used, please use Bitu-Mend Advanced.

We’ve got a version for every repair, so make sure you’ve got the right one for your project. Our Bitu-Mend Advanced formula is designed to deliver stronger, long-lasting repairs in heavy wear areas (where forklifts are used). Its formula is reinforced with epoxy resin, making it ideal for shallow (10mm+) repairs.
Bitu-Mend Deep Fill is ideal for filling deep holes (up to 200mm) without the need to build up the repairs in layers. The epoxy resin formulation provides high strength throughout the depth of the repair.
Where an old asphalt surface has started to deteriorate, use Bitu-Mend Pour & Restore for a tough, new, slip resistant surface. With the combined strength of epoxy resin and our easy to mix granite aggregate, Pour and Restore guarantees a durable finish that blends with the surrounding area.

Ensure a clean surface free of all loose material and surface water, oil etc for effective pothole repair.
If appearance is critical we recommend the application of a small trial area first.
Pour the primer onto the prepared surface and spread using a brush. Tip or shovel out sufficient material into the hole to slightly overfill it and then compact with the back of a shovel or tamper. In exceptional temperature conditions advice should be obtained from Watco’s Technical Department.
