with Concrex Vertical
Watco Concrex® Vertical is a two part epoxy resin mortar with special lightweight fillers and is approximately a third of the density of ordinary mortars. This means it can be used repair damaged concrete pillars, sills, lintels, beams, render and stonework without slumping or falling out as the repair sets. It is ideal for frost spalled concrete surfaces with exposed reinforcement. Apply at any depth without the need to build up layers. A Cold Cure formulation is also available for repairing damaged masonry in cold rooms or externally.

Thoroughly clean the damaged area ensuring it is free of dust and dirt.

Apply Watco Tack Coat - for vertical repairs it is crucial to apply our Tack Coat primer to ensure maximum adhesion to the substrate. Use Tack Coat Sub Zero if applying to a cold substrate.


Wearing gloves, tip the aggregate onto a mixing tray or board and create a well in the middle. Shake the curing agent well and pour it into the well until empty.

Wearing rubber gloves, mix the components together by hand until you get an evenly coloured light grey mixture.


Apply the mixed epoxy resin mortar firmly into the damaged area.

Moisten a rag with white spirit and wipe it over the blade. Then drag the damp blade across the repair to create a smooth finish.
