with Flexicoat
Watco Flexicoat is a polyaspartic formulation designed for floors which may be subject to slight movement or cracking. The polyaspartic formulation guarantees improved durability, alongside increased flexibility, making it the right choice for industrial floors which require resistance against movement or vibration.
Flexicoat also has excellent waterproofing and chemical resistant properties, making it the ideal coating for plant, boiler rooms or bund areas, where equipment may leak.
Give the areas a good sweep to ensure that the substrate is free from dust and dirt. To ensure clean edges, use masking tape to mask out the area to be painted.
Remove all traces of grease or oil with Watco Bio D. If the surface is new or bare, remove any surface laitance, dust, dirt or grease with Watco Etch & Clean.
Remove the two inner tins and give the contents of each tin a good stir. When mixed pour the components into the larger tin.
Stir the larger tin thoroughly with a mixing blade until an even colour and consistency is achieved. When mixed pour into the plastic scuttle to use immediately.
Apply the coating with short pile simulated sheepskin roller. A brush can be used for cutting in around the edges.
Leave approximately 8-12 hours if re-coating is required. Your floor will be ready for traffic in 12 hours. Do not wash the surface for 7 days.
