How to easily resurface a damaged or rough concrete surface with Watco Flowtop.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Watco Flowtop
  • Soft & Wire Brushes
  • Spiked Roller
  • Electric Drill fitted with Mixing Blade
  • Trowel & Float

STEP 1 - PREPARATION

  • Thoroughly clean the surface to ensure it is free of dust and dirt.
  • If the surface has heavy deposits of grease or oil, use Watco Concroff or for painted surfaces, Watco Bio-D.

STEP 2 - MIXING

  • Apply primer one to the prepared surface using a brush or soft broom.
  • Allow it to soak into the concrete for 15-20 minutes, or overnight if time permits.
  • Apply primer two. Ensure both primers are applied evenly to avoid ponding on the surface.
  • Immediately after primer two has been applied, begin mixing the supplied resin and powder.
  • Empty the bottle of resin into the bucket.
  • Gradually add the powder and mix using a mixing blade fitted to a slow speed electric drill.
  • Mix until an even colour and creamy consistency is obtained.

STEP 3 - APPLICATION

  • The mixed components should be used immediately.
  • Spread the mixed components across the surface with a trowel.
  • Immediately after application, use a spiked roller to remove air bubbles and create an even finish. Repeat a few minutes later if required.
  • Roll uniformly across the surface multiple times from different directions.
  • Do not use the spiked roller for more than 20 minutes after the product has been applied.
