How to paint large areas of asphalt, quickly and easily with Watco Asphalt Paint. 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Watco Asphalt Paint
• Watco Painting Kit:
• 12" Roller, Frame & Handle
• Plastic Scuttle
• 5" Paint Brush & 2" Paint Brush
• Mixing Stick

STEP 1 - PREPARATION

• Thoroughly clean the surface to ensure it is free of dust and dirt
• Mark out the areas to be painted with masking tape to ensure clean, even edges
• Watco Bio-D can be used to remove any oil or grease from painted surfaces

STEP 2 - MIXING

• The paint should be thoroughly stirred and not thinned
• In very hot weather (25C+) 10% water can be added to make applications easier

STEP 3 - APPLICATION

• Apply by roller and work well into the surface
• Avoid applying too thickly, as this encourages water to puddle on the surface
• If a second coat is required, apply it as soon as the first coat is dry (generally 6 hours)
• If more than 5 days elapse, the surface should be lightly abraded before applying a second coat
• Avoid washing the surface for 7 days after application
