How to Repair a Damaged Floor with Concrex Carbon Fibre

What you'll need:

  • Concrex Carbon Fibre
  • Trowel & Float
  • Mixing Tub
  • Watco Tack Coat
  • Soft & Wire Brushes

 

STEP 1 – PREPARATION

  • Thoroughly clean the surface so it is free of loose material.
  • We recommend a suitable degreaser, such as Watco Bio-D for cleaning oil and grease spots.
  • For shallow, intricate repairs, areas of high impact, or before screeding, use Watco Tack Coat.
  • Watco Tack Coat is essential to ensure a strong bond for maximum adhesion.

 

STEP 2 – MIXING

  • Empty epoxy sand mixture into tub.
  • Create a well in the middle of the sand mixture.
  • Pour in the curing agent until empty.
  • Mix together until an even light grey.
  • Tip: for large quantities it is advisable to use a mixer.

 

STEP 3 – APPLICATION

  • Apply the repair mortar to the damaged area.
  • Compact the mixture firmly into the damaged area.
  • Smooth over the surface with a trowel.
  • Wipe the trowel with a damp cloth.
  • For a smooth even finish, and to prevent surface marks or scratches.
  • Ready for traffic in 1 hour.
