Fast and effective removal of rubber tyre marks
Tyre and rubber marks on floors are a problem because they are so difficult to remove using normal floor cleaners. Watco Tyre Mark Remover includes a blend of bio-degradable cleaner and water miscible solvent. Its’ non-hazardous, low odour formulation is more effective than traditional solvent based tyre mark removers since the formulation is deigned to evaporate slowly in use. This means that when applied to rubber contamination it remains on the floor surface long enough to liquify the rubber. Solvent based products quickly evaporate before heavy or ingrained rubber can be broken down. It can then just be flushed with water and mopped or vacuumed up. No solvent soaked wipes, or special disposal arrangements are required.
The non-aggressive formula makes it ideal for removing rubber marks left by shoes, sportswear, trolleys, etc on decorative surfaces in leisure, commercial or catering facilities. It can also be used to remove heavy, impacted or ingrained deposits in factories, warehouses, painted car parks, shopping centres, airports, hotels, or residential developments to keep them looking like new.

Apply the solution direct to the affected area, spreading with a paint brush or soft broom. Leave for between 5 -15 minutes before agitating with a stiff brush or abrasive pad. It may have to be left for 20 - 30 minutes if it has been diluted by up to 5:1. A scrubbing machine can be used for larger areas. Flush with water and mop or vacuum up the residue. The floor is then ready for use.
