Damp proof injection stops rising damp in walls
Stops rising damp with this damp proof injection. The advanced formula means fewer holes needs to be drilled in the wall compared with conventional systems. Simply drill 12mm diameter holes at 120mm intervals and inject the cream from inside or outside the building using a standard skeleton gun. Each cartridge is supplied with a 30cm nozzle for easy application.

Remove where necessary skirting boards, render and plaster to expose the mortar course to receive treatment. The wall thickness should now be measured. Set the depth gauge of the drill in order to identify the correct drilling depth.
Use a sharp knife to cut the cartridge before screwing on the nozzle prior to application.
The system requires 12mm diameter holes to be drilled at horizontal centres no more than 120mm apart. The depth of the hole required can be taken from the table below. For all other wall thicknesses the hole should finish within 40mm of the opposite face. If possible, drill horizontally and directly into the mortar course.

Solid Brick Walls - Walls can generally be drilled/treated from one side only in a single operation. Drill the appropriate mortar course in accordance with the table above.
Cavity Walls - Cavity walls can be treated in one application and from one side. Alternatively you can treat each leaf of the wall separately. When treating from only one side drill completely through the selected mortar, allowing the drill bit to pass across the cavity into the opposite leaf to a depth of 90mm. Always ensure that the cavity is clear before treatment.

Watco Damp Proof Course Injection - Insert delivery tube to the full depth of the pre-drilled hole, squeeze the trigger and backfill each hole to within one centimetre of the surface. Some white surface staining could occur if overfilled. Should this occur it will brush off when dry. On completion of works, drill holes can be plugged or painted over.
