How to Apply Watco Universal Sealer Dustproofer - Step-by-Step Guide

A colourless liquid resin which penetrates deep into concrete or other porous materials to provide a dust proofed, hardened surface. It strengthens weak, dusty screeds and poor quality concrete. It also reduces porosity and dusting on brick, blockwork and plaster walls.

How to strengthen weak and dusty concrete surfaces with Watco Universal Sealer Dustproofer

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Watco Universal Sealer Dustproofer
• Soft Broom

STEP 1 - PREPARATION

• Thoroughly sweep the surface to ensure it is free of dust and dirt
• The surface must be dry and porous to allow the product to penetrate
• Watco Bio-D can be used to remove any oil or grease

STEP 2 - APPLICATION

• Pour directly onto the floor from the container
• Apply between 10°C and 30°C only
• Use a soft broom to distribute the solution, working it well into the surface
• Avoid ponding, use the broom to sweep excess solution onto the adjacent areas
• One coat is usually sufficient on average quality concrete
• A second coat may be required on exceptionally porous surfaces
• Allow 12-16 hours to dry before applying a second coat
