A durable, anti slip, self-levelling epoxy floor system
Watco Resiflow anti slip is an ideal floor screed for heavy wear areas that are potentially slippery. The thick, satin anti slip coating helps to fill and disguise imperfections on the floor.

The coating is best suited for application to a bare concrete floor. No primer is necessary. Resiflow can be used on previously coated surfaces, which must be abraded to provide a key and all poorly bonded coatings must be removed. A trial area is recommended to test the effect on previous coatings. Bare concrete substrates should be at least 4 weeks old, clean and reasonably dry. Concrete with laitance (a weak dusty layer on the surface) should be prepared by mechanical abrasion or by using Watco Etch & Clean, an acid based preparatory agent. Watco Etch & Clean helps to remove loose cement deposits and provide a key. Very smooth, non porous or powerfloated surfaces should be mechanically abraded. Resiflow can be applied to damp concrete surfaces as the cured coating is moisture vapour permeable. Dirty or greasy surfaces should be washed with Watco Bio-D (a solvent free degreaser), rinsed and allowed to dry.
Remove all components from the outer bucket. Pour the contents of the resin tin into the bucket. Using a mixing blade fitted to a slow speed electric drill, start to mix while slowly adding the curing agent. Scrape around the inside of both tins to ensure all the material has been removed. When thoroughly mixed add the fine aggregate component steadily until uniform in colour and consistency, then add all of the fine anti slip additive (if using Slip Resistant Resiflow) and continue blending for a further 5 minutes, ensuring that all material at the sides and base are thoroughly mixed. It is possible to hand mix small quantities but great care must be taken.
If appearance is critical we recommend the application of a small trial area first.
Working in sections of approximately 5m², pour the mixed Resiflow on to the prepared surface and spread evenly to the desired depth of 1-2mm using a Watco Resiflow Applicator or similar notched squeegee. Within approximately 5-10 minutes, apply a spiked roller to remove air bubbles. Repeat a few minutes later and thereafter until air bubbles cease. Spike rollering can extend into the previously applied section, but ensure that this has not hardened to such a degree that spiked rollering will damage it. If a knife cut in the wet surface heals quickly, the surface is still safe to roller. The slight anti slip texture may not become apparent until the product has nearly cured. The density of the additive is such that it slowly floats to the surface for the textured finish. Spiked shoes will help operators to reach all areas of the uncured floor.
Resiflow should only be laid at floor surface temperatures between 15°C and 35°C.
