In common with rock salt, Watco Ice Melt may damage low quality surfaces or contribute to rusting if in direct contact with metal. All left overs should be brushed off after an hour to reduce the risk of damage. To avoid damage to decorative surfaces such as tiles, etc, we recommend a test on a small area first. Please only use on concrete that is more than one year old.
