Description
Watco Fibreglass Reinforcing Tape is primarily used with Watco Bund Sealer when additional reinforcement is required over joints. Apply along the joint where the bund wall meets the bund floor, bedding into a wet coating of Watco Bund Sealer.

    Usage - Properties strengthen and waterproof joints in bund areas, normally used with Watco Bund Sealer, helps prevent bund areas, developing leaks, easy to cut and use

    PREPARATION & APPLICATION
    When used in conjuction with Watco Bund Sealer.

    Application

    1. Prepare the surface, then mix and apply Watco Bund Sealer at a width of 50-100mm either side of the crack or joint.
    2. Whilst still wet, place the Fibreglass Reinforcing Tape onto the Bund Sealer so that the crack or joint runs down the centre of the tape. Push the tape onto the layer of Bund Sealer using a brush loaded with more Bund Sealer.
    3. Work the tape into corners, joints and angles, ensuring good contact with the surface at all points.
    4. If a join is required, overlap the tape by at least 50mm and work in as above.
    5. Allow to harden and apply more Bund Sealer over the rest of the bund or area to be sealed.


    Alternatively,

    1. Place the tape onto the first coat of Bund Sealer, as our standard instructions above.
    2. Allow to harden and apply a subsequent coat(s) of Bund Sealer as required.
