Preparation: brick, masonry, stone and other cementitious surfaces
The application surface should be clean, dry and free of any loose material and contamination. Use a fungicide to remove any fungi, mildew or moss etc. and scrape off any loose paint. Existing hard smooth, glossy paint should be lightly sanded to provide a key. Wash with a detergent solution, rinse with water and allow to dry. Make good any minor defects with an external filler or sand/cement mix.
Preparation: wooden surfaces
All bare wooden surfaces should be clean and dry. Do not apply to door or window frames or previously painted wood, unless all traces of old paint have been removed.
Application
Stir thoroughly before use. Apply two coats using a brush or roller, but on previously painted surfaces in good condition, where similar colours are used, one coat may be sufficient. Allow each coat to dry thoroughly before over coating.
