Watco Waterproofing Mortar can be used on the positive or negative side and will withstand water permeation under hydrostatic pressure. This makes the mortar ideal for repais to cellars, subways, tunnels, lift shafts, vehicle maintenance pits and swimming pools, just to name a few.

The Waterproof Mortar works by the formation of insoluble crystals which penetrate the water bearing capillaries in the masonry. This effectively blocks them and forces a permaent water tightness for the life of the structure. It is durable and resistant to frost after setting and at the same time vapour permeable. Waterproofing Mortar is also tested and approved for contact with drinking water.

Only one coat usually required (although rapid curing allows 2 coats to be applied in one day)
