Surface Preparation
Suitable for concrete or any other similar sound surface. The floor should be free from oil, grease, weak material, laitence and other contamination. Any particularly smooth substrates (e.g. powerfloated concrete, marble, terrazzo and ceramic tiles) should always be mechanically textured.
Can be used over areas which have been contaminated with tile adhesive. Scrape off any loose adhesive and check that it is not water soluble or contains bitumen.
Priming
No priming is necessary unless the surface is particularly dusty or extremely porous. In this event an application of
Watco Universal Sealer is advised.
Mixing and Application
Watco Pour and Walk can be mixed using a slow speed drill fitted with a
mixing blade.
The 20kg container of powder should be mixed with 4 litres of clean water. Do not add extra water as performance may be impaired.
After applying the material onto the floor simply use a steel float or trowel to spread. The maximum application thickness is 10mm. If applying in temperatures other than 15°C–25°C please contact the Watco Technical team.
