Watco Masonry Waterproofer is easier to apply and penetrates much deeper than traditional liquid systems. It can penetrate brick work by up to 12mm, giving better protection against wind driven rain. It does not block pores, but lines them with silanes and siloxanes which repel water but still allow the substrate to breathe.

Coverage approx. 25m² per 5 litres. One coat is normally sufficient.

Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be clean, dry and sufficiently porous to allow Watco Masonry Waterproofer to penetrate. Remove all surface growths by wire brushing. Seal any cracks or joints. Do not use detergents to prepare the surface.

Application
Apply by roller, then use a brush to treat areas close to window frames etc. Any splashes on paintwork or glass should be wiped off within a few minutes. Any areas that were not reached by the roller (such as deep mortar beds or voids in brickwork) should be treated by brush.
