Leaves no residue and will not harm vegetation. Watco Ice Melt Grit is a mix of 70% Watco Ice Melt and 30% grit. The fine grit improves traction on the surface as the snow and ice begin to melt, so its safer to walk over, especially useful around schools and other public areas.
Ice Melt Grit Is effective in temperatures as low as -29°C.
Watco Ice Melt Grit may damage low quality surfaces or contribute to rusting if in direct contact with metal. All left overs should be brushed off after an hour to reduce the risk of damage. To avoid damage to decorative surfaces such as tiles, etc, we recommend a test on a small area first. Please only use on concrete that is more than one year old.
