Equality Act & Building Regulations Compliance
From the 1st October 2010, the Equality Act (EA) replaced most of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). However, the Disability Equality Duty in the DDA continues to apply. You can find out more about the protection and legal rights the Equality Act provides for disabled people here.
Stair and Ramps and Tactile plates are all requirements in the workplace to ensure safe and ease or access for people with wheelchairs or who have limited or no vision. We have a number of Equality Act and Building Regulation compliant products to help you to meet these standards.
